Job Description:

Looking for hourly associates with child care background. The job is Monday- Friday, potential to work at additional locations if qualified.

Key responsibilities may include:
Direct child care:
Supervising children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Feeding children meals and snacks, preparing bottles for infants.
Changing diapers and assisting with toilet training.
Implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
Napping and comforting children as needed.
Classroom management:
Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
Following established safety protocols and emergency procedures
Implementing positive behavior management strategies
Creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment
Communication and collaboration:
Communicating regularly with parents about children’s progress and any concerns
Maintaining detailed records on children’s development and daily activities
Collaborating with other childcare staff to ensure consistent care
Developmental support:
Fostering children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development through planned activities
Providing opportunities for children to learn through play and exploration
Identifying and addressing individual needs of children
Required skills and qualifications:
Compassionate and patient demeanor:
Ability to provide nurturing care to children of various ages and developmental levels
Strong communication skills:
Effectively communicating with children, parents, and colleagues
Basic child development knowledge:
Understanding of children’s developmental stages and needs
Safety awareness:
Commitment to maintaining a safe environment for children
Physical ability:
Ability to lift and carry children, kneel, and sit on the floor for extended periods
Depending on the specific role and location, additional qualifications may include:
Certified Child Development Associate (CDA) or other relevant childcare certification
First Aid and CPR training
Experience working with children in a childcare setting
