Job Description:

In A Pinch Workforce Systems is building a professional, reliable child care workforce that keeps classrooms open, protects licensing compliance, and supports early learning programs when staffing gaps occur.

We are hiring experienced early childhood educators to join our W-2 professional educator pool serving licensed child care centers across the Detroit metro area.

This is not gig work. This is a respected, paid professional role for educators who value reliability, professionalism, and impact.

Pay Range
$18–$35 per hour, based on credentials, experience, and availability
• Higher rates for CDA, degrees, and strong reliability
• Paid as a W-2 employee (not 1099)

What You’ll Do
Step into licensed child care classrooms when centers need support
Maintain ratios, routines, and a safe learning environment
Follow center lesson plans and classroom expectations
Represent In A Pinch with professionalism and reliability

Who This Is For
CDA holders, ECE teachers, assistants, or experienced educators
Educators who can arrive on short notice and value punctuality
Professionals who take licensing, safety, and quality seriously

Basic Requirements
Early childhood education experience or credentials
Ability to pass background checks and maintain compliance documents
Reliable transportation
Professional dress and conduct (no phone use in classrooms)
