Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Child Care Worker to join our team at New Beginnings Child Care and Academy. The Child Care Worker will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires a passionate individual committed to fostering the development and well-being of children while maintaining a positive, supportive relationship with parents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Plan, organize, and participate in age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for children.
Support children with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and personal hygiene.
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents by regularly communicating children’s progress and any concerns.
Provide emotional support and guidance to children, helping them to navigate social interactions and develop problem-solving skills.
Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality care.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Experience working with children in a group setting, ideally in a child care or educational environment.
Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for children and families.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 40 lbs] and assist children with mobility if necessary.
Ability to stand, bend, and kneel frequently to engage with children at their level.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
