High school students enrolled in a CTE Education General program pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or a MI-YDA (Michigan Youth Development Associate) credential are eligible to receive a TEACH Early Childhood® Michigan scholarship to support the cost of the CDA or MI-YDA credential fee.

Career and Tech Ed instructors who are interested in pursuing coursework to further their knowledge of early childhood/child development and to feel confident in credential competency instruction are eligible for tuition suppport through the TEACH Early Childhood® Michigan scholarship. A limited number of CTE Instructor scholarships are available.

In addition to scholarship support for credentialing fees, high school students and CTE instructors have access to technical assistance, coaching, and support from a dedicated Michigan AEYC Program Specialist to help navigate credential training requirements as well as application processes.
