Minimum 3 years of related office experience or an Associate’s Degree.
Ability to meet child care licensing requirements for staff.
High level of experience with and competence of on-line data management system(s).
Working knowledge of computers and computer software, especially the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps such as Google Sheets.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibility of employee to obtain and maintain all training(s), certificate(s), approval(s), etc. and provide documentation to the business office before expiration of said document(s).
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
CPR/AED and First Aid Certified and TB test.
Required to have a physical presence at the designated job site each scheduled work day.
Must have regular and reliable job attendance, performance and the physical ability to do the job.
Order inventory, track and process for EHS and GSRP.
Handle the bidding process for providers EHS and GSRP.
Track and process Non Federal Share for Early Head Start.
Process several reports and double check for accuracy for EHS and GSRP.
Support and train staff and providers in database and child information software including ChildPlus, Teaching Strategies GOLD, COR Advantage and others as needed.
Take minutes and support preparation for EHS and GSRP meetings, including evening meetings.
Attend Early Head Start Policy Council Meetings.
Maintain up to date Early Head Start Provider Files
Process Early Head Start Board Information Packets.
Update and maintain the ISD website for EHS and GSRP.
Prepare invoices for child care providers for EHS.
Support licensing process for ISD classrooms.
Support and complete ongoing monitoring for EHS and GSRP as determined by the Director of Early Childhood Services.
Support GSRP administrative tasks as determined by Director of Early Childhood Services.
Be a classroom substitute in GSRP as needed.
Communicate effectively with families, ISD staff/administration, local districts, agencies, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned by St. Joseph County ISD Administration.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: A 260-day position. 40 hours per week. Salary and conditions of employment are determined by the Board of Education.
