Job Description:

POSITION: Teacher Assistant -Great Start Readiness Program (2 positions)
HOURS:       Monday through Friday 7.25 hours per day
SALARY:       $14.17/hr
START DATE: August 4, 2025
REPORTS TO: Early Childhood Director and Classroom Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:
Meets the LARA, Child Care Licensing Division requirements as a caregiver

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists Lead and Associate Teacher
Assist classroom in taking classroom notes/observations using Teaching Strategies Gold
Makes all children feel comfortable, secure and loved Insures health and safety of children at all times
Enforces discipline policies and procedures stated in the parent and staff handbooks
Maintains classroom orderliness
Punctual, reliable and predictable attendance is required
Other duties as assigned
