Job Description:

1. Requires CDA at minimum.
2. Previous successful early childhood teaching experience preferred.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills required.
4. Training in Connect 4 Learning (C4L) Curriculum.
5. Knowledge and/or experience using a research based, observational student assessment.
6. Formal training and experience with inclusion-based early childhood programs preferred.
7. Strong background in cooperative learning and hands-on investigation.
8. Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
9. Must be able to maintain appropriate program and grant documentation.
10. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
11. Excellent professional attendance record.
12. Must possess patience, creativity, imagination, and problem-solving skills.
13. Must be able to implement developmentally appropriate practices for four-year-old children
14. Must be able to teach using the team teaching model as described in the GSRP implementation manual.
15. Must be able to accept direction from the lead teacher, the early childhood specialist, and the executive director of the program.
16. Must pass the fingerprinting child care background check.
