Shining Star Pre-School is hiring a full-time PreK for ALL / Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) Lead Preschool Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. As a GSRP Lead Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and engaging in developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children, managing classroom activities and routines, communicating with families, and collaborating with other faculty members. This is an on-site role located in Shelby Township, MI.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s or higher degree in Early Childhood Education

-Must be able to pass a background check, have fingerprint clearance, and negative TB test Certification in CPR and First Aid Training

-Maintain 24 hours of training per school year through a MiRegistry account and attend all meetings or trainings required by the MISD.

-Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

-Ability to be flexible with lesson plans and schedule as changes occur throughout the day.

-Experience working with diverse learners and families

-Knowledge of, and experience with, developmentally appropriate practice and positive behavior intervention and support
