The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual celebration hosted by the NAEYC celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, and families. The Week of the Young Child® (#WOYC2026) is an annual celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to recognize early learning, young children, early childhood programs, families, and communities.

Each April, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) invites educators, families, and communities to come together to celebrate the Week of the Young Child® (WOYC)—a time to highlight the joy of early learning and the vital role early childhood educators play in shaping young minds.
