Job Description:

Tiny Geniuses Preschool & Daycare (TGPD) is currently accepting applications for a full-time lead infant teacher. We are looking for a fun and caring teacher who is passionate about working with young children.

TGPD Lead Teacher Perks include: Creative freedom with lesson plans, paid in-person trainings, paid lesson planning time, and access to a 30,000+ square foot gym for indoor recess and gross motor time.

Lead Teacher Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Create a warm and nurturing classroom environment

· Plan and implement lesson plans using Creative Curriculum

· Have open communication with parents daily and keep parent communication app up to date

· Ensure the safety and well-being of students

· Be responsible for their classroom (including cleaning, keeping organized, record keeping, and rotation of materials)

· Work well with other teachers and be able to problem solve

· Experience with Microsoft Word, Procare, and Teaching Strategies Gold a plus

Qualifications:

· Must be at least 19 years old

· Have a High School Diploma or GED

· Have an associate’s degree or higher in early childhood education or child related field, or a CDA credential

· Early childhood education experience of one year or more preferred

· Must be able to lift children of varying ages and sizes

Michigan Licensing Requirements:

· Comprehensive background check

· CPR and first aid certification

· Complete annual training hours
