Michigan AEYC Coaching Summit2026 GSRP Convening Building Alignment. Driving Excellence. Connecting Together. Join your colleagues from across the state for a dedicated day of connection, strategy, and professional growth. As an add-on to the 2026 Coaching Summit, the GSRP Convening provides a specialized forum for the leaders and specialists who bring Michigan’s Great Start Readiness Program to life. This is more than a meeting- it is your opportunity to step out of the daily routine and into a collective space to sharpen our shared vision for high-quality PreK. Whether you are navigating regional challenges or seeking statewide updates, this day is built to ensure we move forward together. We know your time is at a premium. That is why we have designed the 2026 Coaching Summit and the GSRP Convening to work in tandem. While the Summit builds your individual capacity as a coach and leader, the Convening provides the focused space to deepen relationships and collaborate on solutions. By attending both, you’ll be supported with both personal & professional growth and an opportunity to impact local and statewide programmatic excellence.Michigan AEYC Coaching Conference Michigan AEYC’s Coaching Conference will take place this November 16th and 17th in Lansing, Michigan, bringing together approximately 400-500 early childhood professionals who identify as coaches, mentors, or individuals growing into a coaching role. This conference is designed for those who coach, mentor, guide, or support early childhood professionals across a variety of roles, including GSRP coaches, specialists, consultants, trainers, home visitors, lead teachers, administrators, early childhood leaders, and others with a coaching or mentoring focus. We hope to create a space where new, emerging, and experienced coaches can learn from one another, reflect on their work, strengthen their practice, and explore the many approaches within early childhood coaching. This year, as Michigan continues to expand its use of Practice-Based Coaching and Pyramid Model practices, we are especially interested in sessions that support coaches in understanding, applying, and strengthening these approaches. We also welcome proposals that explore the broader experience of coaching, including reflective supervision, adult learning, feedback conversations, relationship-based coaching, data-informed coaching, coaching across differences, coaching in home-based settings, supporting implementation, boundary setting, ethics, documentation, coaching for equity and inclusion, coach well-being, and building your coaching identity. Breakout sessions are 75 minutes and should be practical, reflective, and relevant to the real work of coaches and mentors supporting early childhood professionals across Michigan.
