Job Description:

At Dorothy’s Discovery Daycare Center, we believe in nurturing the whole child through a safe, loving, and engaging environment. We are seeking a dedicated Toddlers Lead Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and supporting infants during their most important developmental stage.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide responsive, nurturing care for infants (0–18 months)
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities (sensory play, tummy time, music, and language exposure)
• Follow safe sleep guidelines and maintain licensing compliance
• Handle daily routines including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants
• Observe and document developmental milestones
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
• Build strong relationships with families and provide daily updates
• Lead and support assistant teachers in the classroom

Qualifications:
• 1–2 years’ experience in an infant classroom or licensed childcare center
• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Knowledge of infant development and caregiving best practices
• CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
