Job Description:

Summary:
The Greyhound Early Learning Center is seeking a childcare worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. The childcare staff member will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that the needs of the children are met and that they are receiving the highest quality of care possible.

Responsibilities:
– Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care
– Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and programs for children
– Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
– Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and development
– Assist with meal preparation and feeding of children
– Administer first aid and medication as needed
– Attend staff meetings and professional development trainings as required
– Follow all center policies and procedures

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a childcare setting
– Must be at least 18 years of age
– CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)
– Ability to pass a background check
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
