Engages individuals and families in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of stage of readiness and phase of treatment. Assigns and supervises the caseload of direct reports staff. Supports staff as required to manage caseload efficiently. Reviews cases to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services rendered. Conducts staff meetings to review strengths, outcomes, problem areas and plan solutions. Assists staff in improving and updating professional skills by providing them with information such as pertinent conferences and seminars, new techniques in the field and current and pending legislation affecting mental health services. Orients, trains, and develops new staff. Monitors case records, including signatures, and follow up and referral of individuals to community agencies to aid in an accurate history. Ensures that paperwork is maintained in accordance with Medicaid & DCH, & Easterseals guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications
Education
Required
Masters or better in Counseling.

Masters or better in Psychology.

Masters or better in Social Work.
