Job Description:

The Department of Human Development and Child Studies (HDCS), housed in the School of Education and Human Services, invites applications for several part-time Data Collector positions for a statewide preschool evaluation. We are seeking applicants available for 2–3 weekday mornings during preschool classroom hours in September–October and April–May to conduct in-person child assessments. Some afternoon and/or evening availability will also be needed to complete required post-assessment paperwork. Data collectors should live near Clare or Gladwin counties.

Responsibilities include completing mandatory training, contacting teachers to arrange mutually agreed–upon times to assess study children in their classrooms, driving to sites in Clare or Gladwin counties, and completing additional tasks as assigned. Must pass a background check prior to hiring/starting.
