Job Description:

Early Impressions is seeking a dedicated and collaborative GSRP Associate Teacher to join our preschool team. The Associate Teacher works in partnership with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that supports the physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.

The Associate Teacher will support implementation of the GSRP curriculum with fidelity, follow GSRP Program Quality Standards, and collaborate with Lead Teachers, families, and support staff to promote positive outcomes for every child.

SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time, school-year position following the GSRP calendar.

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Our GSRP classrooms operate from late August through June, including paid holidays and scheduled school breaks.

Employees also have the option to spread their annual compensation throughout the summer months, allowing for continued pay during the summer break.

COMPENSATION:
Starting compensation: $30,000 annually with the option to spread compensation throughout the summer

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must meet applicable Michigan Child Care Licensing and GSRP Associate Teacher qualification requirements, including one of the following:

An Associate Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, OR
A valid Center-Based Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
