Job Description:

The Ann Arbor JCC is seeking a GSRP Teacher / Associate Teacher to come and join our diverse Early Childhood Center team. People of all religious backgrounds are welcome at the JCC.

Our program serves children ages 2 months through 5 years. Our program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and is the centerpiece of a vibrant community center.

Desired qualifications:

Bachelors’s (for Teachers) Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in early childhood education, child development, or related field.
A strong knowledge of child development
Experience working in center based programs with emergent curriculum approaches, particularly HighScope.
Required qualifications:

Child Development Associate Certificate (or equivalent)
Experience working with children.
Passionate about providing excellent daily care, initiating ideas and activities, and collaborating with a team of educators
Skilled in communication, both written and verbal
Comfortable supporting and engaging parents and families
Must be flexible and willing to help out where needed

Full time salary ranges from $33,280 to $41,600 per year and is dependent on qualifications and experience.
