Laingsburg Community Schools is seeking a dedicated, dependable, and enthusiastic Substitute Associate Teacher to join our Wolf Pups Preschool program at the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC).

This is a full-time, temporary position, Monday through Friday, beginning in early November and continuing through mid-January.

Position Responsibilities

The Substitute Associate Teacher will:

Support the lead teacher in providing a high-quality preschool program.
Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Build positive and supportive relationships with young children and their families.
Assist with classroom instruction, small-group activities, and daily routines.
Support classroom management and appropriate behavior guidance.
Assist with supervision, transitions, meals, recess, and other classroom responsibilities.
Support the individual needs of children, including children with developmental or special needs.
Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
Follow all school district, preschool, licensing, and program policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed to support the health, safety, and care of young children.
